Zanele – Founder of GivHerPower
Zanele is the visionary behind GivHerPower, a platform she created out of a deep passion for recognizing and uplifting women. Growing up in Zimbabwe and now living in Canada, she has witnessed firsthand the resilience, strength, and sacrifices women make every day, often without acknowledgment. This inspired her to build GivHerPower as a movement dedicated to shining a light on women’s contributions, celebrating their achievements, and reminding them of their worth.
As a mother of three, a graduate in Child Development, and the founder of GivHerPower, Zanele understands the importance of community, support, and empowerment. Her own journey of balancing motherhood, education, and leadership has fueled her belief that women can thrive when they are seen, supported, and connected to one another. Through GivHerPower, she works to create a global network where women feel valued not only for what they do, but for who they are.
Zanele’s leadership style is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a strong commitment to building spaces where women feel safe to share their stories. She believes that empowerment is contagious, when one woman rises, she creates room for others to rise alongside her. With creativity, determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of women, Zanele continues to guide GivHerPower as a growing movement that inspires change and unity across borders.
Lisa – Zambian/South African Leader
Lisa is passionate about empowering women and fostering meaningful connections across Zambia and South Africa. She brings a wealth of vision, resilience, and compassion to her leadership role within GivHerPower. With her cross-cultural background, Lisa bridges communities and inspires women to embrace their strength and potential. She believes deeply in the power of unity and in creating opportunities that allow women to thrive. Her work is driven by a commitment to ensuring every woman feels valued, supported, and seen. Lisa’s leadership continues to be a vital force in advancing the mission of GivHerPower.
Khosana – Zimbabwe Leader
Khosana is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and community growth in Zimbabwe. With a strong dedication to creating safe and supportive spaces, she works to ensure that women are equipped with the tools, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Her leadership is rooted in compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to social change. As part of the GivHerPower team, Khosana brings vision and determination, helping to amplify women’s voices and foster unity within her community and beyond.
Maureen – Uganda Leader
Maureen is a dedicated advocate for women’s empowerment and social change in Uganda. She is passionate about creating opportunities for women to grow, thrive, and feel supported in every aspect of their lives. With her compassionate leadership, Maureen works to amplify women’s voices and highlight their contributions within the community. She believes in the power of unity and collaboration, recognizing that when women support each other, they can achieve extraordinary things.
